Right now I am trying to stay clm. I did the MS upgrade advisor, and everything checked out, did a complete virus scan, and that showed clean. This morning I went to install Windows 7 Home Premium. The files copied and decompressed with any issue, then the computer went to reboot. That was it, no bios, no Acer screen, no nothing. I spent 45 minutes on the phone with Microsoft technical support, unable to address the issue. They sent me to Acer which were totally useless. They gave me a link to update the BIOS, problem is that the computer is doing absolutely nothing.

    Any Help PLEASE!!!!

Perseverance pays off. Acer recognized the error in the warranty and resolved. Then the tech gave this link and the firmware update brought the computer back to life. Here is the link for anyone else going through this.
