hey, im kinda new to this site, been lurking and decided to sign up. im not completly computer dumb, i know my way around ok.. but i do have a few questions about installing Win 7 on my One.

i have a One D250 and i would like to try Win7, not exactly sure if this computer will hold it tho...

    160gig HDD
    1.2Ghz processer ( i think)
    1 gig ram

Been reading u have to have a USB drive to install this? is this true? or can u just download, mount with powerISO and install? or could i put it on my EHDD and install from there?

Any issues with things not working? IE: wifi, usb ports etc...?

thanks alot guys.. im sure this as been gone over, and im sorry if i asked repeated questions.

Windows 7 will run fine, according to reports on theis site.

You talk about trying Windows 7. Note that installing Windows 7 will make it impossible to go back to XP if you have not taken precautions.
Since Windows 7 overwrites the MBR D2D will not function anymore.

viewtopic.php?f=61&t=13696 shows what can be done to prepare for this.
