Windows 8 wont run on Acer Netbook

    Hey guys I have a acer net-book d255 and whenever i try to download it it says not compatible with my computer. I meet all the requirements.

    2gb ram
    Intel atom n450 (64 bit capable)

    I dont understand why I cant get windows 8 64 bit, If you guys have any ideas to help me pleas tell me.

    Which breed of OS are you currently running? I don't think it's possible to start a 64bit installation from within a 32bit environment. You might need to create a bookable disk to install Win8 from.
