I haven't found a clear answer, only for the SSD's.
What is better for the AAO with 120 GB HD, FAT32 or NTFS?

performance of the HD is good, so i would recommend NTFS because it is the better file system.

I installed xp yesterday on mine
NTFS is fine, other posts talk about using nlite version of xp but again with the 150 having hd a normal windows installation is fine
See my post for which drivers i used from acer-------http://www.aspireoneuser.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=5989
If you have external dvd then use that, (saves messing around with usb stick, the tutorials for that just confuse me) very straight forward and in total takes about 2 hours
