Since I installed Windows Live Messenger (on Windows XP), when i start up the netbook the program loads but its removed from the startup folder under start menu and I even used the System Configuration Utility ("msconfig") i went in there under the startup tab and unchecked msnmsgr (there was 2 of them actually)

I now went in there again, but one of them is checked now ... what's wrong ? :(

Try going into Tools -> Options -> General, and unchecking the option to Automatically run Windows Live Messenger when Windows Starts in Windows Live Messenger
