windows live messenger

    Hi All
    I was considering buyng the aspire A110 for my son with the linux format but he would need to have windows live messenger on it and im not sure whether it would be possible being that it was linux and not a windows operating system... any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated .

    This will not be a problem. There is an Instant Messenger application on the desktop that works fine with MSN.

    thanks so much for the reply, so if he clicks on the desktop icon can he just login to his live messenger account, sorry im a bit stupid when it comes to techy stuff :)

    Yes. He can just log-in. No fiddling around required! Thank Gawd!
