windows logo

    This isn’t an issue as such but it’s slightly annoying; when I boot my aspire up the windows logo which appears slowly fades in & when I shut it down the windows logo & writing which says loggings off appears on the right hand side of the screen & not in the centre.

    Can anyone tell me how to fix these niggles?

    The logo fades in on all computers I have, the only way to prevent that is using the /NOGUI switch on boot but that would mean you wouldnt see anything (not useful if the comp locks up)

    As for the welcome text not being displayed correctly, you could set it to use the classic logon (in the user settings, disable the welcome screen), but it looks like its in the wrong resolution before it switches to your desktop, is your graphics installed correctly?
