Windows on my modded aspire one!

    Well, now with 30GB HD installed and a ddr2 1GB ram, windows runs very quickly with no freezes at all...

    So far so good, but something is missing... the icon of the battery status on the right corner at the bottom... How can i have it?????

    did you check power options -> Advanced in control panel?

    Yes, i did. I selected the option to show the icon. It shows the icon but when i pass the cursor on the icon i get the info : "On AC power" . But its working with the battery.

    check device manager and make sure you have the ACPI driver working properly under system devices.

    I had the same because of a missing DLL. Download the file I just uploaded for you including the battery.dll and the text how to install it on your AA1 windows install.
