windows takeing forever to startup

    I have the acer aspire one 751h and windows 7 and the z 530 cpu. for some reason windows 7 starts extremely slowly, and even though the windows sign apears, it does not start loading the os until 5 secounds later, i noticed this didnt start happening until after i installed accohol 120 and once i noticed it i un installed but i still have the problem. what do i do???

    How much RAM do you have in your machine? You really need 2gb to get Win7 running stable on these things.

    Do you have an antivirus package installed? You could have a bug in the system.

    When windows does load, try clicking Start -> Run -> type MSCONFIG in the box and click OK. Check the startup items in there and see if you can identify anything that may cause a long loading time.
