Has anyone tried Windows Touch Remix? It's apparently an application launcher for windows XP inspired by Ubuntu netbook Remix.

    Doesn't look good.
I wouldn't recommend you to try it.

Well i have now been testing it for a few days and i have to disagree. It is rather good and as you can see on my below screenshot, you can make a rather eyecatchy and practical desktop in XP with it. Of course it's one of the first betas and you can't use it yet permanently (for instance it takes way too much time to load at startup, and it will crash if you do something wrong during configuration), but i do think the guy is going somewhere and that we should give it a try and send him some feedback so he can improve it faster. He has a rather positive feedback thread on EEEuser.
He's going to a Microsoft .net programs developers conference on the 25/05 and he's currently working 24/7 on it to present it there, so the app might receive drastic changes and improvements over the weekend...
