    Hi there,

This might sonud like a strange question because I was a bit baffled by it at first. Is there a driver for the battery for Windows XP? I've just changed from Linux to XP and after the install I keep getting a message that Windows cannot install the battery and to locate the driver for it.

I've installed all the drivers from Acer, but cannot find anything for this. Any ideas?

    Thanks

Is this an nLite install? If so, you removed the battery under drivers. Windows XP should just load the battery native. It doesn't require a 3rd party driver.
