Windows xp Or Vista or 98

    I ought the 8 GB SSD Aspire one , and it currently has vista on it! and im so confused everyone says get xp , 2000 ect! i dont one which one to get? should i stivk with vista?

    If Vista works then keep it?
    98 is god awful, why even bother with it?
    If you are low on HD space, just make an nlite version of XP, or a vlite version of Vista. If you have 512MB I'd go with XP.

    I run Vista on my 160GB/6 cell, runs fine for me.

    I agree, depending on what laptop configuration you have, vista is the way to go. I am running full vista ultimate with bitlocker turned-on and mine runs smoothly and nimble.

    ive got xp sp3 with a gig of ram and after a few tweaks it runs perfectly. cos of gettin drivers i doubt you could get 98 fully working

    ya i was joking about windows 98 :lol! ya right now i hate vista so much, it wont even open my flash drive! and its needs a driver for a mouse i use!

    I don't know why you hate Vista so much, whatever Vista needs to run your mouse, XP or 2000 will need as well. I think Vista actually has a decent built in driver base. Maybe your flash drive is bad, or you didn't install Vista correctly.

    I know your pain. My right memory slot never loaded the driver correct.
    It worked OK when I has a Vlite build with almost no drivers.
    But I found I needed them ...
    Now it is slow as crap to load anything, esp. on the right. Left, not so much... :?:
