(Windows7 & Ubuntu 9.10 remix) Random freeze on AOA-150

Hi there!!!!

Need a bit of advice from resolving this problem.

I always had windows XP. all normal (usual things and performance, you know) some day i try to update to windows 7, also made a space on disk to install ubuntu. Everithing gets nice, i am really happy with both OS but there's a problem, it hangs A LOT now!!!

When i'm using windows 7 gets stuck every 10-30 min. When using ubuntu it's like 30-50 min. my model is an Acer Aspire model AOA-150 8.9" (also known as ZG5). i've checked the entire memory with memtest+ 86 and it returns happy colours (this was because i did heatsink mods, and RAM upgrade to 1gb). i use AOA fanctl at windows 7 and acerhdf on ubuntu. I use skype A LOT but hangs more when i'm using it, forcing me to prees the reset button..... However, it hangs whether i'm using it or not

I'm thinking that could be because of RAM timings or FAN control (less likely, i've had win7 running with fan control without doing anything, and looks well) of some sort, because hangs when i do something that demands RAM (like vieweing a video on youtube or talking on skype) also, i suspect that might be related hang-ups in BOTH systems.

kernel logs in /var/logs/messages don't help at all. The log just stop. (between 00:50:10 and 00:51:07 WAS a reset)
