Wireless connection PROBLEM, help please!

    Ok so I recently bought an acer aspire one.
    But I have the problem that I can't connect to my wireless internet (EDIMAX AR-7084gA)

    It DOES show my network in the internet list, but when I try to connect to it my internet just stops working (I don't even have internet on my desktop then) and so I also don't have internet on my laptop.

    The network adapter I have is:
    Atheros AR5006X Wireless Network Adapter

    I tried downloading some drivers, but it fails everytime, really frustrating.

    Is there anyone that knows what the problem is and can help me?
