wireless driver

    Just a quick note that there's a new driver for Atheros wireless card the driver version is 2.0.0.72, Lets hope this helps to fix some of the wireless problems a lot of us have been having

    This is correct. This driver does take care of the issue with the Windows 7 and the wireless hardware. Good stuff.

    The new 2.0.0.72 driver doesn't fix all problems, but it is certainly much better than earlier versions. I can now download big files most of the time. Sometimes the connection still breaks up completely. But Windows doesn't seem to crash anymore when this happens.
    I noticed something weird, though. After I booted in my second Win7 instalaltion for a short test and went back to the main installation the driver had changed to the last one I had used before that update. And it wasn't really easy to go back to 2.0.0.72. I had to pick another one and reboot and magically 2.0.0.72 replaced it.
