I have just bought the Acer 110 Aspire and although I can see Wireless networks and can connect, once connected the icon then says acquiring network address and just continues to do this, so can't connect to internet.

Acer support are useless and only there between 9-5.30 weekdays so never going to get connected because always at work!!They have asked me to call back when I am near my Router so they can configure something with the router, personally I think this is a fob off.

Can anyone help me Please?!! :x :x

is your connection secure? what type of security? can you get on any other wireless... Almost sounds like a strength issue, I know the radio doesn't seam near as powerful as my other laptop (dell xps m1530), but both that one and the acer will display several connections even if they are barely there, but won't connect unless it's strong enough.
