wireless runs slow

    i had a similar problem. i did a "ping -t http://www.google.com" and noticed that half the packets were being dropped. This was only happening when plugged into the charger. I changed the power saving mode on the network card to normal but that didnt fix it. Changing it to Off did fix the problem.

    My Atheros wifi card is only managing ~150 KB/Sec where my Realtek RTL8187B is working at more than 500 KB/Sec on the same network while downloading the same file.

    What's the deal with this Atheros card? I have the most current driver 7.6.0.260 installed.
