i have recently got a acer aspire one A150, i didn't like linpus much so i downloaded and installed ubuntu netbook remix image 1.0.1 which is based on ubuntu 8.04.1 but with lpia kernel

seems as though everything is working that i have tried so far except the wireless signal is weak .

it is using the ath_pci driver.

any ideas how to improve the wireless signal on the netbook.

    thanks

Something is wrong. The Atheros chipset is supposed to be very sensitive and powerful.

I'm using the 2.6.27 native kernel ath5k driver. Seems to be stuck on 500mW. My access point is showing 13db over other laptops.
