Wireless ulitility for Atheros

    Hi everyone,

    Anybody here have a Wireless Utility for Atheros? I am looking for a function of which I can make my Atheros Wireless an Access Point. Anybody have this? Thanks.

    I suppose the wireless driver includes the utility but as most users install it throught the device manager, it just copies the *.inf (driver files). I, for one prefer Windows Zero. ;)

    Yeah I know what you mean but really most drivers available for Atheros doesn't include a utility that can make it an Access Point rather a Wifi Station. Even Windows Zero, I think it doesn't have that capability.

    There's no utility for that. You have to bridge your network adapters. You access the internet through lan and broadcast the wifi signals through wifi to make a ad-hoc network.

    Thanks Jack. I was just wondering if somebody have such useful tools. May not necessarily be for Atheros but at least a universal tool that can offer such. I've tried Antemedia but it hang up my AAO somehow.
