witch gps software for linpus plz ?

    Re: gps log for linpus ?

    I would ask some of the guys over at open street map about gps log software, they are really into their GPS since they are trying to create an open map of the world. www.openstreetmap.org

    Hi, TangoGPS is compatible with linux linpus ? I will try to use it, I will tell you if it's ok... thks a lot

    Yes, it should work by installing the rpm package.

    But you need to do this before installing:

    yum install curl

    and

    ln -s /usr/lib/libcurl.so.4 /usr/lib/libcurl.so.3

    Sorry to ask a pretty basic Linux question re these mods

    I have set up my Acer so that I can access terminal and run program and add/remove software - but I am now not sure I can

    do the next steps :

    yum install curl

    and

    ln -s /usr/lib/libcurl.so.4 /usr/lib/libcurl.so.3

    Each of those command lines would need to be proceeded by a "sudo".
