WLAN Aspire One

    Hi,

    i have a Acer Aspire One A150 with the latest ipc 10.5.6 System. I have change my Atheros Wlan Card with a Broadcom Wireless Mini PCI-E Card DELL DW 1490 Airport, but the System is not found a Wlan Card? I have read that this card is the Macbook Pro Card an is working very well.

    What is my Problem ;( is there some Problem in my Aspire or is he need a Driver for the Dell Card? Please help me i love my new little Netmac.

    Broadcom WLAN cards are recognized as Airport Cards and as such is native to OSX, and no drivers are required. You must have a damaged card. Can you test it under Windows or Linux?

    Hi Brushless, yes i can install my Windows xp, but i thing the card is broken. ;( THx for your help.
