Hey there! Can anyone confirm weather or not the Intel 4965AGN WLAN adapter is compatible with the Intel Atom N270 @ 1.60GHz processor? I would assume that it would be but we all know what happens when we assume.........we end up with a WLAN adapter that we ordered online, can't use and can't get refunded for

    Hi Mozeleo,

No replies here so i'll chip in.

Yes, it works just perfectly. I swapped the stock Atheros (crap) wifi against one of these intel boards for my aoa150 (even swapped my wifes aspire 4315 for an intel one - it had the Atheros as well but only one antenna cable instead of two).

You probably have two antenna cables in your aspire. A good thing (but not neccesary) is to order an extra antenna cable off ebay. They are fairly cheap. Google for instructions on how to open up your screen and place this extra antenna there. There is a perfect place for it in the right-hand side of the screen.

You also need to uninstall the atheros driver before swapping for the intel one (important) since the uninstallation requires the physical atheros to be in place.

    Kind regards

    Daniel

What about using an Intel WiFi Link 5100 or 5300? This even looks like a better option on the 532h.
