Won't accept password!!

    Help, just did the initial out of the box set up with my new Aspire Timeline with Win7. After shutting off and restarting will not accept the password I've set up. Can't get in at all. I'm an experienced user and did indeed write down the password, etc. Any suggestions?? I can only get to the log on screen after restart from cold boot or warm boot.
