    well after looking for this forum and around google i can't manage to connect my university network...
    i follow a thread for WPA & WPA2 enterprise but with no luck,

    the settings from my university linux group are

    ctrl_interface=/var/run/wpa_supplicant

    eapol_version=1
    ap_scan=1
    fast_reauth=1

    network={
    ssid="eduroam"
    scan_ssid=1
    key_mgmt=WPA-EAP
    pairwise=TKIP
    group=TKIP
    eap=PEAP
    phase2="auth=MSCHAPv2"
    identity="[email protected]" # substitute with your credentials
    password="**********" # access credentials
    }

    i tried put this under the network manager but with no luck....

    so any help will be apreciated...

    OK, so on the config for eduroam in networkmanager you should now have on the security tab:

    Security: WPA & WPA2 Enterprise
    Authentication: Protected EAP (PEAP)
    Anonymous identity: (leave blank)
    CA Certificate: (none)
    PEAP Version: Version 0
    Inner Authentication: MSCHAPv2

    And your user name and password. Try changing the PEAP version to 1 if 0 doesn't work. Mine sometimes takes a few tries to connect on a network with almost the same settings, so give it a few goes with each PEAP version.

    well before anything thanks for your help...

    But i tried a more few times with no luck and about the CA-CERTIFICATE it is GTE-GLOBAL-ROOT
    as you can see in this link it works under ubunto -> http://glua.ua.pt/NetworkManager#EDUROAM

    it also doesn't detect the file cert.pem under /etc/pki/tls/cert.pem

    so i my think that this is a problem of certificates than anything else...
