Hi all, new here, so thought i'd start in beginners land :p
Been offered a ickle laptop (netbook) by my professor, as several in the research office use them.
But, they all have Eeepc, and i have my eye on the Aspire one, now since the cost is similar i see no reason to think i can't have the Aspire one.
Of course it could be argued there is an advantage of all running the same hardware and software, so wondered if it would be reasonable/sensible/possible?
to install Xandros on the Aspire?
Obviously i'm not much of a linux expert, but have tried out a few distro's on my duel boot laptop.
Really want to be part of the Aspire club..

    cheers Oz

Linpus/Xandros, unless the purpose of having the UMPC is to learn the details of a distro, it shouldn't make any difference. Check with your supervisor what they want you to use the thing for.

(Ephraim Tutt, taking on the cases nobody else wants)

PS Is it really a duel boot system, like the movie Duel with Dennis Weaver?
