XMind is one heck of a mindmapper program I have on my Ubuntu-laptop.I've tried to install the XMind-Portable version on my AA1-Linpus following the directions found at http://www.scriobha.im/?p=9. The installation, per these instructions, are not giving me the installation I desire.

#1. The 'unzip' command says I don't have the correct privileges to install XMind.
#2. Trying for an install by hitting the 'enter' key on my keyboard brings up the extraction menu but afterwards says I don't have the correct privlidges.

    * I downloaded the XMind-portable.zip file to the 'Downloads' folder.
    * The necessary "Common" files were extracted to the /root/ director (there must be over 100 of these files [jar, etc files]).

Yes, I've even done the [code'/usr/local/xmind-portable/[/code] before I attempted to unzip the XMind-portable.zip file.

Any suggestions on how I can get XMind on my AA1
    ?
