I have an A0A 150 running windows XP. It's not been modified in any way to my knowledge but I bought it second hand so I couldn't be too sure. There are 2 problems occuring with it.

First, I have the visual appearance set to 'best for performance' but every 3rd or 4th boot it starts in the default windows xp blue theme. It's not a big problem but it is kind of annoying.

Second, sometimes the battery doesn't charge when it's plugged into the mains. This problem occurs only ocasionally and only at home. The computer doesn't seem to recognise that it's plugged in. I've tried various sockets and ones that work sometimes don't work sometimes and vice versa.

Any help would be appreciated. I'm about to have 5 weeks off uni during semesters and need a 'project' to keep me entertained ;)
