XP-Linux Help

    I just picked up my One (XP 120gb version) at lunch today and I want to install Ubuntu on it. I've read through all the walkthroughs and I think I have a good handle on the Ubuntu install. But what happenes if I want to go back to XP how can I restore?? I noticed the Acer eRecovery tool but how would I accomplish this is I was using something else??? Or a I just SOL if I install something other than the preloaded XP

    Thanks and sorry for the noob question, but I am primarily a Mac guy.
