I'm new to this forum. I tried to find an answer to my question in your posts, but i didn't see it.

I have a couple of Acer One with 120G HDD, used by our service technicians. I tried to upgrade to XP Pro, but get a message that the upgrade funtionality is disabled. I'm not excited about doing a complete installation. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

    Thanks in adavance.

Suggest email Acer Tech Support. I can't think of ANY reason that this upgrade feature would be disabled. Could be a carry over when the AAO's first came out and they were SSD's and only 512 Mb RAM. Search these forums and I'm sure you will find your answer.

Possible because these are XP Home OLPC licenses and that you can't go from Home to Pro with those types of licenses.
