XP question for SSD aspire one

    Hello - quick question - how much space does a fresh copy of windows xp take up when installed?
    Ive got an acer aspire one with 8gb ssd and i was wondering how much space would be left after.

    after it installs everything (drivers, selected updates,etc) you should have a little over 2gb left. after you install an antivirus, 1.60gb left. to save space on programs, install programs that ask you where you want them to be installed at, choose the SD card. it saves a lot of space. even let downloads save in the SD card.

    Actually.. a full version of Windows XP Home SP3 will only take up 2.5Gb of space on the SSD.

    Please Explain :lol: I never heard of Windows XP only taking up that amount of space
