I have tried xPUD, http://www.xpud.org/. It is a little sensation, and runs VERY fast and smooth on my AA1 110 512 MB Ram.

Installed xPUD by using the image file that can be downloaded and editing menu.list as described on the xPUD web site. I use the old Grub (inside Kuki linux)

I also test it on my Loenovo laptop. A bug is that the option to save changes in a session doesn't seem to work yet.

But xPUD may be THE OS for small netbooks like the AA1. Looking forward to new releases and upgrades :)
