(Yet another) Live Update problem

    So I haven't been able to update my AA1 in a while, kept getting error messages so I just gave up eventually. But now I'd really like to get it updated. So here's my problem: the files download just fine, and start installing. But eventually the installation just stops and never completes. I tried updating via terminal and get the following:

    Verifying archive integrity... All good.
    Uncompressing update online-update.....

    And then it just hangs there forever. The file I was trying to install in this particular case was a Live Update patch from January, Live Update patch #180079.
