yum update fails

    I did sudo yum install fedora-release.

    Now sudo yum update fails:

    Error: notification-daemon-xfce conflicts with notify-daemon
    Error: Missing Dependency: gecko-libs = 1.8.1.17 is needed by package yelp

    I have exactly the same problem,
    could it be because I did:

    sudo yum install fedora-release

    In stead of:

    sudo yum install fedora8-release

    ?

    What to do about this??
    Any help would be very nice!

    Maybe I did the wrong command.
    I really hate that Linpus is so old.
