Could someone tell me what version of Yum the One ships with? The stupid app actually allows you to uninstall itself without confirmation and I really don't want to wipe out my configuration changes by using the recovery disk. If I know the exact version then I can get the rpm onto the One and reinstall it. :)

You can usually find out the version using --version, -v or -V in linux. In this case the first, so yum --version. Alternatively rpm -qa | grep yum to show the exact package version.

It's ok, I've just grabbed the version used in Fedora 8 Updates and it installed without wanting to update any dependencies, which is all I was trying to avoid.
